Mr. Bill "Junior" Dans, Jr.

  Mr. Dans was born August 20, 1939, in Marthaville, and died
Sunday, December 3, 2000.

  Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Bethel
Congregational Methodist Church. Officiating were Bro. Brian
Jennings, and Bro. Stanley Davis. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, Bernice Dans of Marthaville; son,
Billy Dans of Marthaville; daughter, Karen Dans Nix and husband
Curt of Marthaville; two granddaughters, Heather Dans, and Autumn
Dans; four brothers, Jesse Dans of Deweyville, Texas, Thurman
Dans of Buna, Texas, Floyd Dans of Marthaville, and Ronnie Dans
of Texarkana, Texas; and two sisters, Irma Rachal of Keithville,
and Barbara Smith of Charleston, W. Va.
