Mrs. Maudie Irene Dumas

  Services for Mrs. Maudie Irene Dumas, 76, of Emerson, Ark., were
held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 28, at the Lewis Funeral Home
Chapel in Magnolia, Ark. Brother Dennis Richie officiated. Burial
was at Hephzibah Cemetery near Emerson.

  Mrs. Dumas died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1986, at Magnolia City
Hospital.

  She is survived by two sons, Palmer Dumas of Bossier City, La.,
and Tedd Dumas of Many, La.; three daughters, Mura Fitze of
Shreveport, Lura Johnson of Houston, Texas, Billie Dodson of
Magnolia; one sister, Pearl Hanson of Cullen, La.; 11
grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Tim Foster, Joe Ray Foster, Rodney Hanson, Gene
Dennis, Merwin McMahen, and Jimmy McWilliams.

  Memorials may be made to S.A.R.T.I. of El Dorado, Ark., of
charity of donor's choice.
