Master Phillip Joseph Downs

  Services were conducted at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Hwy
80 East, Bossier City-Haughton, for Master Phillip Joseph Downs,
3 years old, of Haughton. Officiating was Rev. Scott Cundiff of
the Church of the Nazarene in Vivian, where Phillip was a member.
Assisting was Rev. Glenn Alderman of Bell Park Baptist Church.
Interment was at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

  Phillip entered into rest, Sunday, March 1, at Schumpert Medical
Center, after a lengthy illness.

  Phillip is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Downs of
Haughton; one sister, Courtney Downs; one brother, Joshua Downs;
maternal grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Morris Miles of Vivian;
paternal grandparents, Mrs. Alpha Downs, and the late Jerry Downs
of Plain Dealing; great grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. C. E. Harris
of Lumberton, Texas, Mrs. Georgia Lee Miles, and the late Homer
Miles of Vivian, Mrs. Ethel Lowe, and the late Woodrow Lowe of
Zwolle; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
