Downs (Photo) Francis "MoJo" J. Downs, 81, of Zwolle, died Aug. 22, 2002, at DeSoto Regional Health System in Mansfield. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Aug. 24, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment following at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Timothy Hurd officiated. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Meshell and husband Charles of Zwolle, Brenda Wilhelm and husband Dan of Shreveport, and Deborah "Dobie" Henderson and husband Donald of Zwolle; three sisters, Louise Wilkerson, and Pauline Parrie, both of Zwolle, and Bessie Armstrong of Kenner; one brother, Sam Parrie of Zwolle; five grandchildren, Tim Downs and wife Monica of Converse, Karen Wilkerson and husband Hajo of Noble, Eric Henderson and wife Sora of Columbia, S. C., Don-Nell McGee and husband Marc, and LeLoni Meshell, all of Zwolle; seven great grandchildren, Ashley, and April Meadows of Harrisburg, Ill., Jeremy, and Jacob Wilkerson of Noble, Joshua, and Christopher Henderson of Columbia, S. C., and Nicholas McGee of Zwolle; and a host of special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Downs; parents, Clarence and Mack Parrie; sister, Josephine Brown; and brother, Clarence Parrie Jr. Pallbearers were Allen Parrie, Gary Parrie, John Parrie, Dean Parrie, Eric Parrie, and Bubba Rivers.
