Survivors include her husband, Billie Wayne Denton; two sons, Donald Wayne Moran of Baton Rouge, and Johnny Moran of Provencal; her mother, Wylene Jacobs of Marty; two daughters, Yvonne Richardson of Campti, and Mrs. Betty Jean Richardson of Baton Rouge; her father, Mack Nugent of Ferriday; two sisters, Hazel McDonald of Natchitoches, and Fern Scroggins of Leesville; 12 half brothers, and sisters; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 11:30 a.m. Bishop Glen Hardy, Bishop Leroy Johnson, President Fred Wagley, and President Mack Hayes Jr., officiated. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
