Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Denton of Natchitoches; two sons, Donnie Moran of Baton Rouge, and Johnny Moran of Provencal; two daughters, Mrs. Evon Richardson of Campti, and Mrs. Betty Jean Richardson of Baton Rouge; her father, Mack Nugent of Ferriday; her mother, Mrs. Wylene Jacobs of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel McDonald of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Fern Scroggins of Leesville; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 11:30 a.m. Bishop Glen Hardy, and Bishop Leroy Johnson officiated. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
