Mrs. Floy Julia Daniel

  Funeral services for Mrs. Floy Julia Daniel, 94, of Zwolle, were
held at 2 p.m., June 12, 1995, at McKneely Funeral Chapel in
Amite.

  Officiating were Bro. Paul Ferrant, Interment was held in
Hillsdale Cemetery in Amite, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Daniel died Friday, June 9, at Toledo Nursing Center in
Zwolle.

  Mrs. Daniel was born April 17, 1901, in St. Helena, to Rozilla
Morgan and Joe Napoleon Johnson.

  Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Daniel;
and a son, Gordon Daniel.

  Survivors include one daughter, Joy Ferrant of Zwolle; one son,
Ray Daniel of Nederland, Texas; one sister, Tena Holland of
Greensburg; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two
great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
