George Madison Daniel

  Funeral services were held July 20, at Cleveland, Tex. for
George Madison Daniel, 71, who died at Cleveland, Texas, after a
long illness.

  Burial was in Rose Park Cemetery, Humble, Texas. He was a one
time resident of Sabine and Natchitoches Parishes, a World War I
veteran, and a brother of the late J. W. (Billie) Daniels.

  Survivors are his wife, Drucilla Daniel, Cleveland, Texas;
daughter, Mrs. Fred Purnell, Houston, Tex.; two brothers, T.
Jerry Daniel, Cleveland, Tex., and Glen H. Daniel, Hornbeck, La.;
three sisters, Mrs. G. J. Winn, Natchitoches, La., Mrs. J. P.
Leach, Cleveland, Tex., Mrs. B. R. Roberts, Port Arthur, Tex.;
and father, J. S. Daniel, Oakdale, La.
