Daniels Willie D. Daniels, also known as Sugar Pie, died Friday, Dec. 5. Funeral services for the man were held by the Rev. Lloyd Davis and the Rev. Carl A. Lilly. Survivors include a sister, Leola Hicks of Many; and a brother, Chris McCraw of Many. Also surviving were the following relatives; Mrs. Annie Bell Wolfe, Mrs. Edna J. Matthews, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Barton, Mrs. Florence Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Toliver, Mildred Porter, Mrs. Gena Garner, Mrs. Catherine Newton and family, Uncle Ben Garner and daughter, Ola, Mrs. Gussie Shannon and daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Mrs. Clara S. Mitchell, Mrs. Bernice Fobbs, Mrs. Gracious Prudhomme, Sam Cole, Alice Coney, Mrs. Ed Rema Prudhomme, Mrs. Rosa Barnes Armstrong and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Daniels was born in Craybon, La to Fisher Daniesi and Nellie Armstrong Daniels. He was inducted into the United States Army in 1942, and served for nine years with the Engineer Dump Truck Co. He was given an honorable discharge on August 31, 1951 in Washington D.C.
