Denman Services were held for Mrs. Annie O. Denman, 77, of Shreveport, at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 19, at the Jennings Chapel Congregation Methodist Church near Marthaville. Rev. Radford officiated. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery near Marthaville. Arrangements were under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield, La. She died Thursday night, June 17, at Doctors Hospital in Shreveport, after a brief illness. Mrs. Denman, born in Pleasant Hill, and a resident of Shreveport for 30 years, was a housewife. She is survived by her husband, Mr. George Grady Denman of Shreveport; step daughter, Mrs. Pearl Morris of Shreveport; brother, Bobby G. Cobb of Shreveport; sisters, Mrs. Dessie Welch, Mrs. Hazel Shafer, and Mrs. Dorothy Rodgers, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. Johnny Slay of Mansfield, La.; and eight grandchildren.
