James Lewis Diamond

  Mr. James Lewis Diamond, 100, of Converse, died in the DeSoto
General Hospital in Mansfield, on March 7, 1984, at 6:20 a.m.

  He is survived by one son, James A. Diamond of Converse; one
daughter, Mrs. Nancy Anderson of Zwolle; 19 grandchildren; 41
great grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Fellowship Baptist Church,
Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Walter Ledford, and
the Rev. Harrison McCoy officiating. Burial was in the Sardis
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
