Durr Luther E. Durr, 70, of Beaumont, Tex., died Sunday, July 25, at ? a.m., after an extended illness. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Maude Durr of Beaumont; one daughter, Mrs. Willie Ann Linehan of Wilmington, Mass.; four step-sons, four step-daughters; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild; seven brothers, R. B., and J. Y. Durr, both of Pleasant Hill, P. A., and L. S. Durr, both of Winnie, Tex., Ellie Durr of Beaumont, Boze Durr of Port Neches, and Leroy Durr of Jasper, Tex.; eight sisters, Willie Mae Davidson of Alto, New Mexico, Marie Williams of Leesville, Ivy Ford of Houston, Louise Taylor of Mitchell, Annie Lee Touchton, Houston, Faye Bryant, McGuire, New Jersey, Christine Tolar, Docette, Tex., and Callie B. Williams of Port Neches, Tex., and his step-mother, Mrs. R. G. Durr. Funeral services were held at the Beulah Methodist Church Monday, July 26, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. E. W. Coleman officiating. Interment was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
