Augusta W. Durr

  Mrs. Augusta Webb Durr, 72, of Marthaville, died in her
residence on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 10:20 p.m., following an
extended illness.

  Survivors include her husband, Lester Durr of Marthaville; two
sons, Harvey Webb of Shreveport, and Marion Webb of Lufkin, Tex.;
seven daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Ott of Rockford, Illinois, Mrs.
Virginia Dampier of Adel, Georgia, Mrs. Mattie Garrard of
Shreveport, Mrs. Inez Jordan of Marthaville, Mrs. Elizabeth
Pridgen of Shreveport, Mrs. Augusta Kilgore of Marthaville, and
Mrs. Gacie Lewing of Many; two brothers, Harrison Jenkins of
Robeline, and Lee Jenkins of Bon Weir, Texas; three sisters, Mrs.
Susie McCullough of Port Neches, Tex., Mrs. Adeline Daughtry of
Bon Weir, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Jordan of Robeline; 32
grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; six
step great grandchildren; and one step great-great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., in
the Shamrock Advent Church. Burial was in the Shamrock Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Officiating at the services were Rev. Floyd McCurty, and the
Rev. Joe Mitchell Jr.
