Ruben Bueford Durr

  Ruben Bueford Durr of Pleasant Hill, died Thurs., Jan. 27, 1983,
at L. S. U. Medical Center in Shreveport. He was 78.

  Funeral services for Mr. Durr were held Sat., Jan. 29, at 2
p.m., at Beulah Methodist Church. Burial was at Beulah Cemetery.
Bros. Marshal Ingle, and J. P. King officiated. Services were
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Cleo Adams Durr of
Pleasant Hill; four sons, Raymond Durr, Charles Durr, both of
Pleasant Hill, Jerry Durr, Midland, Tex., Billy Durr, Denison,
Tex.; two daughters, Ruby Curtis, Richman, Miss., Linda Martone,
Many; his step mother, Mrs. R. G. Durr, Doucette, Tex.; five
brothers J. Y. Durr, Pleasant Hill, P. A. Durr, L. C. Durr, both
of Winnie, Tex., Boge Durr, Woodville, Tex., Lee Roy Durr,
Jasper, Tex.; eight sisters, Willie Mae Davidson, Lubbock, Tex.,
Marie Williams, Leesville, Ivy Ford, Houston, Tex., Annie Lee
Touchton, Houston, Tex., Louise Taylor, Galveston, Tex.,
Christine Tolar, Doucette, Tex., Faye Bryant, Austin, Tex.,
Callie B. Williams, Coushatta; 16 grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.

  Serving as pallbearers were David Durr, Jerry Durr, Dickey
Martone, Timmy Martone, Todd Keys, Jeff Keys, Bryan Williams, and
Church Gaddis.
