Officiating was the Rev. Gerald Palmer, pastor of Barron Road Baptist Church. Burial was at the Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville, La. Mrs. Durr, a native of Lynchburg, Va., and a resident of Shreveport since 1957, died at 3:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 1984, in Shreveport, following a lengthy illness. She was a member of Barron Road Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Thurman Durr of Shreveport; one son, Richard Lee Durr of Shreveport; six daughters, Vickie Tingles of Leveland, Texas, Patti Carson, Dianna Durr, Peggy McGill, Crystal Durr, and Mindy Durr, all of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Paul Mitchell; and one brother, George P. ?, Jr., both of Shreveport; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kenny Sikes, Randy Lilley, Tommy McIves, Burk Corley, H? Green, and Mark Brian.
