Officiating was Rev. Louis Charier. Burial was in Beulah Cemetery, Marthaville. William died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1988, at his residence. He was a member of Miller French Baptist Church in Evangeline. He was preceded in death by his father, James Roger Durr, and his grandfather, Charles Ernest Durr. He is survived by his parents, Robert G., and Sherry Barnard Hight of Evangeline; two brothers, James Ernest Durr, and Charles Dewayne Hight, both of Evangeline; one sister, Jolene Danyle Durr of Evangeline; grandparents, Lillie Mae Durr of Robeline, W. A., and Elsie Barnard of Pleasant Hill, Wilma Wyatt of Mansfield, Ernest Hight of Pelican; great grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. E. W. Golemon of Pleasant Hill, and Minnie Ray Barnard of Marshall, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
