Ruben Lester Durr

  Mr. Ruben Lester Durr, 85, died at North Sabine Nursing Home in
Pleasant Hill, La., on May 16, 1989.

  Services were held at the Beulah Methodist Church, on Thursday,
May 18, 1989, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Abe Connerly officiating.
Burial was at Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include three sisters, Roberta Moore of Jefferson,
Tex., Alice Bruce of Marthaville, and Jo Evelyn Newman of Lake
Charles; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
