Officiating was the Rev. David Talbert, and the Rev. Tim Patrick. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Durr passed away Saturday, September 1, at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, following a brief illness. She was a native of Pleasant Hill, and had been a resident of Mansfield for several years. She worked as a cashier, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Durr was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Mansfield. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Dewitt Patrick. She is survived by her husband, Truly C. Durr of Mansfield; her mother, Joyce Ann Patrick of Natchitoches; her maternal grandmother, Alline Doster of Natchitoches; two sons, Gene K. Durr of Mayo, Florida, and Michael W. Durr of Converse; one daughter, Jennifer Durr Bridges of Bossier City; three sisters, Nell Durr of Mansfield, and Christy Anderson, and Carol Yarbrough, both of Natchitoches; one brother, John Patrick of Pleasant Hill; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers.
