Interment followed at Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Mrs. Amanda Mallett Durr died January 9, at her residence in Marthaville. She was born in Marthaville, September 20, 1894. Mrs. Durr was a member of Beulah Methodist Church in Marthaville, and Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Travis W. Durr. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth J. Durr of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Travis W. Durr Jr. of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Rommeiss Gamble, Joyce Hendricks, both of Marthaville, and Dorris D. Berry of Pineville; sixteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and twelve great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Nolan Gamble, Henry Gamble Jr. Emmett Hendricks, Roy Hendricks, William D. Berry, and Toby Gamble.
