John Clifton Durr, Jr.

  Services for John Clifton Durr Jr., 53, formerly of Birmingham,
Ala., and Marthaville, were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 23,
1994, at the Beulah Methodist Church. Officiating was Bro. Joe
Mitchell Jr., and Bro. Brian Jennings. Burial was in Beulah
Cemetery, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home in
Coushatta.

  Mr. Durr died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, in Birmingham.

  He is survived by his wife, Micheline Durr of Birmingham; three
sons, Tommy Durr of Birmingham, John C. Durr III of Waskom, Tex.,
and Scott Durr of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Patty Alexander
of Atlanta, Ga., Kim Durr, and Lee Durr, both of Shreveport;
three brothers, Bill Durr of Keithville, Thurman Durr of
Keithville, and Raleigh Durr of Yuma, Arizona; two sisters, Judy
Martinez of Shreveport, and Mary Lee Birdwell of Marthaville; and
six grandchildren.
