Mr. Charles Drew Derr

  Mr. Charles Drew Derr, 56, of Many, died Wednesday, March 31,
1999, at Sabine Medical Center in Many, after a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Derr was a retired automotive mechanic.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 2, at Shady
Grove Church of God in Many, with interment following at Mount
Carmel Cemetery in Florien. The Rev. Mike Henderson, pastor of
Shady Grove Church of God in Many, officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Sandra K. Derr of Many; one son,
Charles Drew Derr Jr. and wife Melissa Dawn of Many; one
daughter, Sherry Lynn Crittenden and husband Brian of Many; one
sister, Exie Fay Derr of Many; seven grandchildren, Andy Derr,
Charles Derr III, Brandon Anderson, Nigel Derr, Kalib Crittenden,
Shae Derr, and Savanna Crittenden; and one nephew, Jerry Lewing
of Many.
