Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with the Revs. Johnny Crocker, and Jimmy Edwards. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include her husband, Odis Derr of Fisher; one son, Charles Derr of Fort Hood, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Exie Derr Lewing of Many; four brothers, Eli Kay, Bud Kay, Jodie Kay, and Johnnie Kay, all of Provencal; one sister, Mrs. Anthony Isgitt of Mt. Carmel; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Clyde Derr, Lymon Crittenden, Vernice Eason, Jimmy Lee Derr, J. J. Koss, and Robert Hines.
