All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************************************************** ************************************************************ Raymond Bueford Durr A service celebrating the life of Raymond "Ray" Durr, 67, of Martinsville, Texas, will be at 2 p.m., Jan. 20, 2003, at Spring Ridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with the Rev. Hoy Leach officiating. Mr. Durr was born May 21, 1935, in Vernon, Texas, to Ruben and Cleo Adams Durr. He passed away Jan. 18, at his residence. Mr. Durr was a retired oil field derrick man. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and was a skilled oil landscape artist, and leather crafted personal items. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Doris Durr of Martinsville; daughters, Sue Ann Rivers and husband Roger of Zwolle, Leslie Durr of Zwolle, Misty Raye Sepulvado and husband Steve of Zwolle; step children, Debbie Self and husband Stan of Many, Kathy Easley and husband Pete of Fortuna, Calif., Jeff Keys of Florien, and Todd Keys of Ellensburg, Wash.; brothers, Charles G. Durr and wife Pat, Jerry Durr and wife Barbara of Midland, Texas, and Billy G. Durr and wife Kathy of Denison; sisters, Ruby Ann Curtis and husband Doug of Richmond, Mo., Linda Kay Martone and husband Richard of Many; 17 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Durr was preceded in death by parents, Ruben and Cleo Durr; and son, Raymond Buford Durr Jr., in 1988. Ray was a loving husband, and a friend to all. He will be missed.
