She was president of the Shreveport Moving and Storage Co., and had lived in Shreveport 25 years. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Darby; a son, James Darby of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Troy B. Yopp Sr., and Mrs. Grace Stevens, both of Shreveport; two brothers, J. R. McFerrin of Coushatta, and Wise McFerrin of Pleasant Hill; six sisters, Mrs. Euna Collier, and Mrs. Carl Durham, both of Coushatta, Mrs. Harry Bicknell of Longview, Tex., Mrs. Ruby Tompkins of Many, Mrs. Gordon Sandlin of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Frank Russell of Shreveport; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, at Osborn Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.
