The Sabine Index - F. E. Drake

  16 Mar 1934 - F. E. Drake, age 56, died at his home near Toro last
Friday after being in ill healthy for a number of years.

  Interment was at Pleasant Hill cemetery, Ward 2, at three o'clock
Saturday.

  Mr. Drake came to Sabine parish from the North in 1898, settling at
Toro, where he was known as a splendid neighbor and progressive citizen.

  Deceased is survived by his widow, three son, Bat, Fred and Jin of
Toro, and a daughter, Mrs. Nannie Davis of Goose Creek, Texas, all
of whom were present at the time of death.
