Andrew Deeres

  Andrew Deeres, 60, of Many, died in Fraser Hospital on Thursday,
March 30, at 6;15 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Edwina Deeres of Many; four
sisters, Mrs. Vick Morvan, and Mrs. Josephine Moore, both of
Many, Mrs. J. M. Barbee, and Miss Della Deeres, both of
Shreveport; and one brother, Buford Deeres of Mansfield. Funeral
services were held on Friday, March 31, at 3 p.m., in the St.
John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Gustave Bergeron
officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were James Capps, Roy Clark, Bill Morvan, Larry
Barbee, Hilbren Joe Creighton, and John Glenn Morvan.
