Survivors include one son, Buford Deers of Mansfield; five daughters, Agnes Morvan, and Josephine Moore, both of Many, Della Deers, and Lilly Barbee, both of Shreveport, and Lee Corries of Shreveport; 8 brothers, Bruno Solice of Bossier City, Pink Solice, Walter Solice, Jeff Solice, Arie Solice, all of Spanish Lake, Greno Solice of Houston, Tex., Lee Solice of Shreveport, and Rev. Larry Solice of Paris, Tex.; two sisters, Mattie Lloyd of Bossier City, and Velma Flores of Spanish Lake; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic Church on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m., with Father Gustave Bergeron officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Larry M. Barbee, Joe R. Barbee, Ernest Morvan, Roy Clark, Joe Creighton, Ricky Moore, John Glen Morvan, and Bill Morvan.
