The Sabine Index - Ella Lester Durrett 
  
  4 Sep 1959 - Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Lester Durrett, age 
89, who died Aug. 29 were conducted at Middle Creek Baptist 
church at 3 p.m. Aug. 30 with Rev. Earl Marr and Rev. Johnny 
Rhodes officiating. 
  
  Interment was in church cemetery under the direction of Warren 
Funeral home. 
  
  Survivors are sons, Joseph Arthur Durrett of Chicago, Ill., 
William David Durrett of Hornbeck; daughter, Mrs. H. W. 
Norsworthy and Mrs. W. H. Hopkins, both of Florien; 20 
grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
