William David Durrett, Sr.

  Services for Mr. William David Durrett Sr., 86, were held at 2
p.m., Thursday, April 22, 1993, at Plainview Baptist Church.
Officiating were Rev. Joe Wellman, Rev. Leroy Chance, Rev. Glen
Flenniken. Burial was held at Plainview Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Durrett died Tuesday, April 20, 1993, at Cabrini Hospital in
Alexandria.

  He is survived by his wife, Ruby Durrett of Plainview Community;
five sons, William David Durrett Jr. of Hornbeck, James William
Durrett of Plainview Community, Russell Fraser Durrett of
Plainview Community, Dwight Dale Durrett of Plainview Community;
three daughters, Juanita D. Faircloth of Temple, Tex., Betty Jo
Broussard of Plainview Community, Linda D. Ulmer of Magee, Miss.;
one brother, Joseph Arthur Durrett of Florien; thirteen
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
