Mr. Joseph Arthur Durrett, Sr.

  Mr. Joseph Arthur Durrett Sr., 100, died Saturday, April 17,
1999, at IHS of Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, at Mt.
Carmel Baptist Church, with interment following at Middle Creek
Cemetery. The Rev. Larry DeLoach officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Mary Lee Durrett of Florien; one
son, Joseph Durrett Jr. of Darien, Ga.; one daughter, Dollie
Daniels Of Atlanta, Ga.; one stepson, Leslie W. Coburn of
Shreveport; One step daughter, Mary L. Lacaze of Hot Springs,
Ark.; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
