William Joseph Durrett

  Last rites for William Joseph Durrett, age 85, who died May 1st,
were conducted at Middle Creek Baptist Church at 3 p.m., May 2,
with Rev. Joe Holt officiating.

  Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Malcolm Hopkins, Bob Cook, John Pickett, Buddy
Hyatt, Woodrow Herrington, and Mied Barron.

  Survivors are his sons, Joseph A Durrett of Chicago, Ill.,
William D. Durrett of Hornbeck; two daughters, Mrs. W. H.
Hopkins, and Mrs. H. W. Norsworthy, both of Florien; 20
grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
