Mrs. Annie Darden

  Mrs. Annie Darden, 64, of Converse, died in a local hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 5, in the Midway Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Milder, and the Rev. E. N. Plunkett
officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Ida Smith of
Anacoco; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Smith of Converse, Mrs. Adela
Knippers of Lake Charles, Mrs. Sarah Ricaub of New Orleans, and
Mrs. Trula Moore of New Orleans; one brother, John Webb of
Houston, Tex.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
