Mrs. Ellis Duren

  Mrs. Ellis J. Duren, 73, of Natchitoches, died Tuesday, Aug. 17,
in Mansfield.

  Services were at 2 p.m., in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with
the Rev. J. P. King officiating. Burial was held Wednesday, in
the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Thomas Duren of Natchitoches, and J.
C. Duren of Edwards, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Georgia
Matthews of Mansfield, Mrs. Wanda Fenn of Shreveport, and Mr.
Mavis Nagin of Brooklyn, N. Y.; one sister, Mrs. Ida Belle
Jenkins of Robeline; one brother, Carter Johnson of Hagwood; 17
grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
