Leonard Edwards Eaves

  Funeral services for Leonard Edwards Eaves, 39, of Belmont, were
held in the Belmont Baptist Church, Friday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m.,
with the Rev. Guy Burk officiating. Burial was in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Eaves died Thursday, Sept. 11, at 1:15 a.m., in Highland
Hospital in Shreveport, following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Eaves of Belmont; two
sons, Scottie Eaves, and Martie Eaves, both of Belmont; one
daughter, Angela Eaves of Belmont; his mother, Mrs. Magdie Eaves
of Belmont; two brothers, Bobby Eaves, and Gladen Eaves, both of
Belmont; and one sister, Myrtle Wilkerson of Natchitoches.
