The Rev. Crawford Williams, pastor of Ingleside Baptist church, where Mrs. Eaves was a member, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery on Stoner Avenue in Shreveport. Mrs. Eaves, a retired accountant at F. W. Woolworth Co., and a resident of Shreveport most of her life, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1984, at Sabine Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Couchwood, La., and had been a resident of Many for the past five years. Mrs. Eaves was a former member of the Woodsmen of the World, Grove 15. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Eaves of Many; her mother, Mrs. Irene Montgomery of Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Jones of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Ira Montgomery of Houston, and Fletcher Lee Montgomery of Shreveport; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were nephews.
