Eaves, 73, of Wills Point, Tex., were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, in Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Crawford Williams, pastor of Ingleside Baptist Church. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Eaves died Sunday, May 24, 1987, in Dallas, Tex., following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Houston, a resident of Wills Point, and a former resident of Many. He was a retired mechanic, Red Oaks Chrysler Corp., Houston, Tex., a member of Ingleside Baptist Church, and a member of Woodsmen of the World. Mr. Eaves was preceded in death by one son, James Ashley Eaves. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Ann Green of Wills Point, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Alva Numners of Shreveport; a brother, Mr. Samuel Eaves of Many; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were nephews.
