Alvin B. Eaves

  Funeral services were held for Alvin B. Eaves, 75, Wednesday,
September 9, who died suddenly in Belmont, September 8.

  The services were held at Belmont Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Walker Ledford, and Rev. Oliver Roberts officiating. Burial was
in Belmont Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. A. B. Eaves of Belmont; two sons,
Alvin Dewey Eaves of Monroe, Wilmer Eaves of Belmont; three
daughters, Mrs. W. M. Russell of Belmont, Mrs. Earl Austin of
Many, Mrs. L. J. Landrum of Natchitoches; one brother, Jesse
Eaves of Morganza, La.; three sisters, Mrs. R. C. Rainer of
Shreveport, Mrs. J. H. Davis of Belmont, and Mrs. W. G. Gentry of
Saline, La.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
