The Sabine Index - Hoy Evans

  15 Nov 1957 - Funeral services for Hoy Evans, age 49, who died
Sunday Nov. 3 was conducted at old Pleasant Hill Baptist church
at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 with Rev. Johnnie Rhodes, Rev. V. R.
Miller and Rev. J. P. King officiating. Interment was in
Clearwater cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Evans, parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Evans, all of Florien, son, Ivy L. Evans of U. S. Air
Force in Japan; daughters, Mrs. Harold Smallwood of
Elizabethtown, Ky., Mrs. Gay Humphrey of France, four
grandchildren, brother, Roy Evans of LaPorte, Texas, sisters,
Mrs. Neal Loftin, Mrs. Lemuel Miers and Mrs. Lonnie Miers all of
Florien.
