The Sabine Index - Mrs. Julia Ann Evans

  24 Oct 1968 - Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Ann Evans, 85,
of Florien, who died in Many Wednesday, Oct. 16, following an
extended illness were held Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Clearwater
Baptist Church with Elder Berry H. Miers officiating.

  She is survived by two sons, Hershall and Hayden Evans, both
of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Ben Miers of Anacoco., two
brothers, Vollie and James Leach, both of Florien; four sisters,
Mrs. Curtis Salter, Mrs. Josie Salter, Mrs. Pearl Wright and Mrs.
Hattie Miller all of Florien; nine grandchildren; and 12 great
grandchildren.

  Interment was in the Clearwater Baptist Church Cemetery.
