The Sabine Index - Mrs. Viola S. Evans

  19 May 1961 - Funeral services for Mrs. Viola S. Evans, age 79,
who died May 11, were conducted at Clearwater Union Church at 3
p.m. May 12 with Rev. Lonnie Marcus and Rev. J. S. Airhart
officiating. Interment was in Clearwater Cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were grandsons.

  Survivors are husband, R. D. Evans of Florien, on son, Grover
Evans of Lufkin, three daughters, Bertha Holt and Mrs. Audie
Jones both of Florien, Mrs. Frank Johnson of Orange, Texas, one
brother, Wesley Sirmon of Houston. Ten grandchildren, thirteen
great-grandchildren.
