Clyde E. Evans

  Clyde E. Evans, 66, died in a Houston Hospital on Monday, Nov.
9. He was a native of Sabine parish.

  A longtime resident of Houston, Mr. Evans was retired. He was a
former owner of E. and E. Auto Parts, Inc. He held memberships in
the River Oaks Rotary Club, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
5619. He was a World War II veteran, having served with the
United States Army.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie Evans of Houston; three
daughters, Ms. Sherry Evans of Houston, Mrs. Jo Neil Bailey of
North Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Marilyn Morris of Baton Rouge;
two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Torres of Zwolle, and Mrs. Irene
Armstrong of Fullerton, Calif.

  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 11,
at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.
Terry Thompson officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
