Maggie Brown Evans

  Mrs. Maggie Brown Evans, 69, died in Elizabeth Town Kentucky on
February 5, 1983, after a short illness.

  Surviving relatives are one son, Ivy ?. Evans of Corinth, Miss.;
two daughters, Mrs. Mary Smallwood of Elizabeth Ky., and Mrs. Gay
Humphries of Holly Springs, Miss.; one brother, Williams Furman
Brown of Ft. Walton Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Nelson of
Florien, Mrs. Janie Meredith of Lampoc, Calif., and Mrs. Roxie
Berryman of Hemphill, Tex.; eight grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
Monday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes
officiating. Burial was in the Clearwater Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
