Blanche Grace Evans (Photo)

  Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Grace Evans were held at the
Warren Meadows Chapel on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m., with the
Rev. Carl Evans officiating. Burial followed in the Clearwater
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Evans died on Sunday, Sept. 22, at Sabine Medical Center.
She was 88.

  She is survived by five daughters, Elva Cassio of Beaumont,
Tex., Nina Arnold of Shreveport, Annie Cassio of Kenner, Rose
Fitzgerald of Harahan, and Maude Sylvia Brown of Florien; two
sons, Herbert Evans, and Emanuel Evans, both of Florien; one
sister, Susan Johnston of Groves, Tex.; 11 grandchildren; 9 great
grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
