Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 7, at Lakeside Baptist Church, Ward 2, with interment following at Clearwater Cemetery. F. M. Belsha, the Rev. C. V. Chance, the Rev. W. T. Lowe, the Rev. Carl Evans, and the Rev. Travis Evans officiated. Mrs. Evans spent most of her life in Sabine Parish. Survivors include one daughter, Ernestine Theiler Belsha and husband F. M. Belsha of Florien; three sons, Eark K. Evans and wife Linda of New Caney, Texas; Travis L. Evans and wife Sally, and Carl E. Evans and wife Kay, all of Florien; one sister, Maytie Davis of Kirbyville, Texas; one brother, Artie Travis of Marshall, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Evans; parents, Lee and Bessie Travis; four sons, Ernest, Hardy "Buddy" Evans; and two infant sons. Donations may be made to Clearwater Cemetery, or the La. Baptist Children's Home. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
