Mrs. Theo R. Evenson

  Mrs. Theo R. Evenson of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Nov. 2, 2001.

  Funeral services were held in the chapel of A. S. Turner and
Sons, at 2 p.m., Nov. 4. The Rev. Larry Long officiated.
Interment followed at Decatur Cemetery.

  She retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in
Decatur, Ga., and was very active in N.A.R.F., once serving as
president, and several terms as secretary. Mrs. Evenson was a
member of Clairmont Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Clarence M. Evenson; father, W. Samuel
Russell; mother, Ima Lynch Russell; and sister, June R. Dalme.

  Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Jere Hayward of Mobile, Ala.,
formerly of Long Beach, Miss., and Mrs. Anne Sneed of
Lawrenceville, Ga.; sons, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Michael K. Evenson of
Newport News, Va.; seven grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; and several nieces
and nephews.
