Matt Evans

  Matt Evans, 81, of Many, died Sept. 20, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at Clearwater Baptist Church, Sept.
22, with the Rev. C. C. Pierce officiating. Burial was in
Clearwater Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Myrtie Evans of
Florien; five daughters, Mrs. Arlon Mitchell of Pineland, Tex.,
Mrs. R. M. Monts of Lake Charles, Mrs. R. L. Tate of Pineland,
Tex., Mrs. Ken Bouman of Gladewater, Tex., and Mrs. J. A.
Speights of Bronson, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Leona Holt of Pineland,
Tex.; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
