Brad Evans

  Brad Evans, 70, of Florien, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Florien,
after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the Clearwater
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Jenkins, and the Rev. Johnnie
Rhodes officiating. Burial was in Clearwater Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Evans of Florien; two sons,
Manuel Evans of Florien, and Herbert B. Evans of Galveston, Tex.;
five daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Brown of Florien, Mrs. Elva Cascio of
Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Annie Cascio of New Orleans, Mrs. Rose
Fitzgerald of New Orleans, and Mrs. Nina Arnold of Many; two
brothers, Sam Evans of Florien, and Jack Evans of Bellville,
Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Zaidee Vogel of Florien, Mrs. Lena
Parish of Robeline, and Mrs. Myrtis Walters of Houston, Tex.;
eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
