Thomas B. Evans

  Thomas B. Evans, 82, of Hornbeck, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, in
Many, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel
Thursday, Dec. 1, with the Rev. and Mrs. U. A. Massey
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thomas Evans of Hornbeck; one
son, Leon Gordon Evans of East Point, Georgia; three daughters,
Mrs. Doris Milner of Oxnard, Calif., Mrs. Blanch Ichimash of
Gardena, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy Branch of Many; one brother,
Matt Evans of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Leona Holt of Hemphill,
Tex.; sixteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Reuben Knippers, the Rev. Pete Davis, Gary
Miller, Sammie Branch, Mike Branch, and Larry Gentry.
