Ebarb, 56, of Shreveport, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Willis-Knighton Hospital, after a short illness. A rosary was said at 7 p.m., Thursday, in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Marshall Street Chapel. Mr. Ebarb was a native of Zwolle, but had lived in Shreveport for 30 years. He was a member of Lowe McFarlane American Legion Post No. 14, and St. John Berehman's Catholic Church. Mr. Ebarb was retired from A&P Co., where he was a butcher for 30 years. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Friday, at St. John's Church, with the Rev. Joseph Browning, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Jean Ebarb; a daughter, Pamela Ebarb of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. B. H. Carpenter of Shreveport, Mrs. Peyton Mathews of Many, and Mrs. Roy Paddie of Longview, Tex., and four brothers, Bobby Ebarb of Shreveport, Glyn Ebarb of Vinton, Elmer Ebarb of Copper's Cove, Tex., and Henry Ebarb of Zwolle.
