Msgr. Matthew Scanlon officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Ebarb died Wednesday, June 30, at his residence, following a sudden illness. He was 87. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marie Ebarb of Zwolle; 23 children, James Anthony David Ebarb, Herman T. Ebarb, Mary E. Ebarb, Elaine T. Malmay, Doris L. Leone, James B. Ebarb, Pat Ebarb, Kenneth M. Ebarb, Shelly Ebarb, Kimmerly Ebarb, Gregg Ebarb, all of Zwolle, June Lopez, and Frank Ebarb of Many, Joyce M. Santos of Pineville, Laverne Jones, and Deloris Springer of Midwest City, Okla., Mildred A. Heard of Greenwood, Shelia Thompsons, and Marshall M. Anderson of Shreveport, Marilyn M. Nevins of Galt, Calif., Brenda G. Hall of Stonewall, and Cynthia R. King of Bossier City; seven sisters, Margaret Burr of Shelbyville, Tex., Callie Procell of Ebarb, Della Larue, and Victoria Malmay of Zwolle, Evelyn Heddleston of Killeen, Tex., Lizzie Rivers of Bossier City, and Annie M. Grines of Leesville; a half sister, Rita McCormick of Zwolle; 48 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Mr. Ebarb served on the Police Jury from 1935 through 1942. He was an usher for St. Joseph's Church for over 50 years. Pallbearers were Howard Rivers, Willburn Laroux, Timothy Dean Rivers, Mickie Malmay, Gary Malmay, and Larry W. Rivers. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Sepulvado, Clyde Rivers, and Murray Sepulvado.
